LSI have always been in the forefront of implementing customer centric strategies and it is our goal to ensure we value our customers' needs and requirements above all else. To that effect, we strongly feel that this acquisition by Static Burst will enable it to provide our customers with:

•  A much broader range of products and services tailored specifically to Small and Medium Businesses

•  The benefit of a fantastic breadth of skills and experience
•  The support of a long established operational infrastructure

What this means to You

It is of the utmost importance that you understand that this will not mean any immediate change in the provision of services to you. The integration will mean a transfer of LSI Engineers which will ensure continuity in business in every way possible.

For your information, the main contact point will move to the Static Burst Headquarters in Plymouth and although some contacts may change during the transition, otherwise business will carry on business as usual.

Static Burst launch new website.

3rd October 2006

Leading South West IT supplier Static Burst have installed a state of the art computer network on both the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferries. Cameras have been installed which will enable anyone to monitor traffic flow on the bridge or ferries both day and night on their new website which will be launched soon.

This project involved an interesting logistical challenge as the cameras needed to be located in suitably obscure positions that ensured a clear view of the roads, no interference from shipping and the mobile phone aerials. We also had to ensure that the information from the cameras could be transferred to the servers in the Ferry office.  This has been done using a combination of cabling technologies and having high specification routers and a leased line to ensure an uninterrupted transfer of information.

As soon as the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry website is running we will have a direct link from our website.  Visit www.staticburst.com in December 2006 for an update on the progress.
